Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how subscription renewals, cancellations, refunds, plan changes, trials, promotional offers, and payment issues are handled for the Service. By purchasing a paid subscription or other paid offering, you agree to the billing terms presented at checkout together with this policy.
1. Subscription billing and automatic renewal
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on the billing cycle shown when you subscribe, such as monthly or annually. Unless your plan or checkout terms state otherwise, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled.
By starting a paid subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method associated with your account for recurring subscription fees, applicable taxes, and any other charges you approve. Your renewal date may shift slightly when required by the payment processor, calendar differences, plan changes, failed payments, or other billing adjustments.
2. How to cancel
You may cancel your subscription through the billing or account area of the Service when that option is available. If self-service cancellation is not available, contact us through our published support channel before your next renewal date.
A cancellation stops future automatic renewals. Unless we expressly tell you otherwise, canceling does not immediately remove access to a period you have already paid for. Your paid access will generally continue through the end of the current billing period, after which the subscription will end and paid features may become unavailable.
You are responsible for canceling before the next renewal charge if you do not want the subscription to renew. Deleting an account, uninstalling software, ceasing use of the Service, or allowing a payment method to expire does not by itself constitute a cancellation unless the Service specifically says otherwise.
3. Refund policy
Except where required by applicable law, required by the terms of a specific offer, or expressly approved by us in writing, subscription fees and other amounts already paid are non-refundable. We generally do not provide prorated refunds or credits for unused time remaining in a billing period, partial use, failure to use the Service, account inactivity, or a cancellation submitted after a renewal charge has been processed.
If we choose to provide a refund, credit, or other accommodation in a particular situation, that decision does not create an obligation to provide the same result in another situation. Any approved refund will normally be returned to the original payment method. Processing times are controlled in part by payment networks and financial institutions and may vary.
4. Incorrect, duplicate, or unauthorized charges
If you believe you were charged an incorrect amount, charged more than once for the same purchase, or charged without authorization, contact us promptly with enough information for us to investigate. We may request account, invoice, transaction, or identity information reasonably necessary to review the charge.
Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under applicable payment-card, banking, or consumer-protection laws.
5. Free trials
If a plan includes a free trial, the trial length and conversion terms will be disclosed when you enroll. Unless the offer states otherwise, a trial that requires a payment method may automatically convert to a paid subscription when the trial ends if it is not canceled beforehand.
Trial eligibility may be limited by account, person, household, organization, payment method, or prior use of the Service. We may modify or discontinue promotional trials where permitted by law, but changes will not retroactively alter a trial already granted unless necessary to prevent fraud or abuse.
6. Promotional pricing, coupons, and credits
Discounts, promotional prices, coupons, referral credits, and account credits are subject to the terms presented with the offer. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional benefits have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and may expire.
When a promotional period ends, the subscription may renew at the then-current standard price disclosed for the plan unless you cancel before renewal.
7. Upgrades, downgrades, and plan changes
If you change plans, the Service may apply prorated charges or credits, change your billing date, or apply the new plan at the beginning of the next billing period. The exact effect of a plan change should be shown before you confirm it whenever the Service supports an immediate change.
A downgrade may reduce features, usage limits, storage, seats, or other entitlements. You are responsible for reviewing the effect of a downgrade before confirming it.
8. Failed, declined, or overdue payments
If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or remains unpaid, we may retry the payment method, ask you to update billing information, restrict paid features, suspend the subscription, or end access as permitted by the Terms of Service and applicable law.
You remain responsible for valid charges incurred before cancellation or termination. Restoring an account after a payment failure may require successful payment of outstanding amounts.
9. Price changes
Subscription prices may change from time to time. When required, we will provide notice before a price change affects a future renewal. Continuing the subscription after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree with a future price, cancel before the renewal at which the new price applies.
10. Taxes and currency
Prices may exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for taxes, duties, levies, or similar governmental charges that apply to your purchase, except taxes based on our net income. Currency conversion fees or foreign transaction fees charged by your bank or payment provider are separate from our charges and are not refundable by us.
11. Chargebacks and payment disputes
We encourage you to contact us first if you believe a billing error occurred so we can investigate and try to resolve the issue. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute does not automatically cancel a subscription. If appropriate and permitted by law, we may restrict an account while a disputed payment is being reviewed.
12. If we discontinue a paid service
If we permanently discontinue a paid Service before the end of a period for which you have prepaid, we may provide a prorated refund, account credit, migration option, or another remedy appropriate to the circumstances, subject to applicable law and any controlling agreement.
13. Rights that cannot be waived
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any refund, cancellation, cooling-off, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where applicable law gives you stronger rights than this policy, those legal rights control.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service, billing practices, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated in a manner appropriate to the change. The “Last updated” date shown on this page indicates when this policy was most recently revised.
15. Billing questions
If you have a question about a cancellation, renewal, refund request, invoice, or charge, contact us through the Contact page or another support channel published by the Service. Please include enough information for us to locate the relevant account or transaction, but do not send full payment-card numbers or other unnecessary sensitive payment information.
